Home Is Where The Work Is: The Ultimate Guide For Remote Workers

For many Association Executives it's been a year (or more) of working remotely and we're finding our groove—which is great. This program is about taking remote work and leadership to the next level with ideas and insights you won't find in articles and videos. This session is a deep dive into the best ways to work from home and lead others who are also working remotely.

Presentation learning objectives: 1) Effective ways to find focus, create balance, and increase productivity when working from home; 2)  Creative Ideas to be more efficient, organized, and ergonomically sound; 3) The best tech to make working remotely work as well (if not better than) in an office.

Lee Silber is the founder of Remote Worker Resource and an expert in efficiency, productivity, organizing, leadership, and working from home. In addition to being the best selling author of 25 books and an award winning presenter, he is also the co-host of a weekly podcast on efficiency and a frequent guest on radio and television talking about working remotely.

James Whitfield

Adaptive Leadership Explained

Be Culture helps boards, executives, and other leaders strategically mobilize people across their organizations and/or communities to effectively and sustainably develop the culture they desire. Customized to fit the unique aspects of each engagement, the Be Culture approach is rooted in the system change and equity tenants of Adaptive Leadership and Beloved Community.

James employs a decidedly multi-disciplinary approach resulting from broad-based experience as an executive in business, non-profit, and government, including having been appointed by the White House to oversee the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In his dual role as the Regional Director for the Pacific Northwest and a Deputy in the Office of the Secretary, he split his time between Seattle and D.C and managing staff across the nation. James has also held positions on numerous local, statewide, and national boards of directors – including the founding board for Leadership Eastside where he subsequently served as CEO for approximately ten years and helped develop a Masters Degree in Executive and Civic Leadership. He has received numerous accolades for his public speaking, training, and civic engagement work.
